The Blogging Basics
Recently, Umbrella Interactive has used weblogs, RSS and wikis to support online communities and collaboration. A weblog is usually a personal or non-commercial web site that presents short comments and links in a simple dated log format, with the most recent additions at the top.

Weblogs and wikis are now even being used for in-house project management, corporate sites,knowledge management and basic websites.
